A touch festiveness
A touch festiveness
Merry Christmas Eve to all you wonderful readers! I thought I'd give you lot a quick bout of some of the elementary holiday touches I've added to our apartment this twelvemonth. I have been working with retailers on holiday shopping promotions since September, and so it seems crazy to me that Christmas hasn't really happened yet! I put up my decorations a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and take been jamming out to holiday music for well over a month now. I've as well had my share of peppermint hot cocoas and a ridiculous amount of peppermint ice cream.
Here'south a peak into the Counts vacation decor. We don't have the space or coin for elaborate decorations, but I love added hints of vacation colors and festiveness (that might be a new word) to our flat.
David and I started our celebrations off with our own Christmas fun over the weekend. This is the twelvemonth of electronics gifts for us (knowing us, in that location will exist plenty more electronics in our stockings in years to come up). I gave David the Nintendo 3DS he has been and then excited for. I can't believe he held out and didn't purchase it for himself already! David got our parents to all become in with him on a sleek iPad mini for me (cue the drooling!). I am such an Apple tree lover 🙂
Nosotros are at my parents in northeast Iowa, making the rounds to both extended family Christmas parties tomorrow. Ii parties in one day combined with my younger siblings now having pregnant others' families to visit means we aren't opening gifts from our immediate family until January. I am sooo excited to give them all gifts, but it volition have to wait a petty longer. At to the lowest degree we all managed to arrive piece of work to be together on Christmas day.
Merry Christmas! I hope Santa is good to y'all tomorrow. What are you upwardly to this calendar week? Whatever crazy Christmas traditions you are looking forward to continuing or starting this year?
